Mission
The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation, dedicated to preserving the Birthplace and raising public awareness of the wide-ranging legacy of the great social reformer, Susan B. As an historical institution, the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum centers its exhibits, educational materials, lectures, and programs primarily on historical figures, events, and daily life during the years 1820-1920, from Susan B. Anthony's birth to the passage of the 19th Amendment which bears her name. Subjects which provide insight into the historical origins of social and political climates in the 19th and early 20th centuries will be considered for exhibits, educational materials, lectures, and programs through the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum.

The goal is to educate about events and philosophies which chronologically precede Susan’s life, yet are topically relevant to her career and the larger social and political shifts between 1820 and 1920.
